Why Defence Companies Choose to Work with Rototip

Secure & Controlled Communication
Projects operate under NDA. Design access is restricted, ownership is clearly defined, and communication stays structured and documented throughout production.

Prototyping to
Low-Volume Production
We inspect parts during production, not only at the end. Share inspection reports, and documentation aligned with defence expectations and delivered with the parts.

IP Protection & Confidentiality
Supporting defence and dual-use projects with controlled, European manufacturing. Compatible with EU and NATO-aligned supply chain standards with clear traceability and documentation.

Real World Solutions
Here is how our team solves complex manufacturing challenges for aerospace innovators, ensuring we deliver on time and to the exact specifications required for high-stakes applications.

Tiny Parts Machined, Fully Threaded
These small, precision-machined parts may look simple at first glance, but every thread, edge, and tolerance matters. Produced in tight batches, they required repeatable machining and careful inspection to ensure consistency across all pieces.
Multi-Coating Strategy Without Compromise
This part required two different surface treatments, each serving a distinct purpose. Hard anodizing on the main body provided wear resistance and surface protection. Chemical conversion coating on the coupling surfaces ensured electrical conductivity where it was critical.
The result was a component that performs reliably in demanding environments without sacrificing electrical performance.

Lightweighting Without Losing Strength
Starting from a 150kg solid aluminum block, nearly 90 percent of the material was removed.
The final part needed, structural integrity across a large flat surface with a 15kg finished part. We reinforced threaded holes using Helicoil® Plus inserts to ensure durability during repeated assembly and service.
Core Challenges for Defence Companies
Your focus should be on pushing the boundaries of innovation, not managing supply chain risks.

Traceability & Certifications
Every component must be traceable back to its raw material, process steps, and inspections. Missing certificates, incomplete documentation, or unclear supplier chains can stop programs instantly.

Tight Tolerances & Complex Geometry
Designs are often intricate, combining lightweight alloys, internal channels, or unique surface finishes. Many suppliers can machine parts, but few can do it repeatably under defence-grade expectations.

Quality Issues
Late-stage failures, dimensional deviations, or surface issues often surface only after assembly or testing. Rework at this stage is costly and can jeopardize schedules and certifications.

Confidentiallity Issues
Defence and dual-use designs require controlled access, secure communication, and trusted partners. Weak data handling or unclear ownership creates unacceptable risk.
Meet The Team Behind Precision

Ismail
Manufacturing Team Lead
From the initial DfM to quality handoffs, we aim to deliver the customer's needs without compromise. I don’t buy rotten apples at the supermarket.

Tuğçe
Quality Engineer
The quality process isn't just a bunch of checkboxes or symbols on the drawings. I would say it's building trust with our customers through precision and reliability.

İpek
Project Executive
My work is all about informing customers and supporting them every step of the way, so they can focus on their work while trusting us to handle the details.

İrem
Logistic Specialist
Your manufactured part is only valuable once it arrives safely and on schedule. I manage this final, critical step to ensure your components reach you right.
Materials for the Defence Industry
Rototip specializes in delivering custom manufacturing solutions to fit your unique needs. Whether you require prototypes or low volume production, we ensure precision and quality every step of the way.

Aluminum Alloys
Lightweight and strong, aluminum alloys have excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and machinability make them ideal for aircraft structures, housings, and precision prototypes.

Titanium
For components requiring high strength and temperature resistance without the weight of steel, titanium is critical for engine components, landing gear, and structural applications.

Carbon Fiber
With an unmatched strength-to-weight ratio, carbon fiber composites are the material of choice for manufacturing lightweight airframes, bodies, and complex structural components.
